Installation of Elders January 19, 2025
Congratulations to our newly elected and installed Session Class of 2027! They were installed by David Tiner, CRE. All three are previously ordained Elders and have served on the Session, so they come with much wisdom and experience. John Calvert will once again serve on Building and Grounds along with Tim Rider. Lana Massengale has “re-enlisted” on the Session and will be moderator of Congregational Care and continue serving with Lisa Tindol on Personnel. Gary Williams is returning to the Fellowship Committee, where he will be working with Frank Stewart on Wednesday Night Live and special fellowship events. They will be joining Susan Dirks, Sarah Jaure, Susan Searcy, Clerk of the Session Louanne LeBourveau and Moderator Rev. David Diercksen as they all work together for the good of our church.

Noted the birth of Kasen Paul Gonzalez, son of Meagan Jaure and Eric Gonzalez on December 30, 2024
Discussed some possible pastor sharing information
Elected Cindy Hilliard, Treasurer and Louanne LeBourveau, Clerk for 2025
Approved restriping the parking lot
Noted that the porch has been repaired and left-over flooring used in the Church Nursery bathroom
Reminded members to lock doors when a meeting is in progress
Heard there were 45-50 in person, plus 13 carry-out suppers for the shrimp & oyster Wednesday night supper
Approved serving Holy Communion on the first Sundays of each month, plus Maundy Thursday, Easter and Christmas Eve
Approved taking the 4 PCUSA Special Offerings: One Great Hour of Sharing, Pentecost, Peace and Global Witness, and Christmas Joy
Noted the next Mission Presbytery meeting: March 7,8 – Kerrville
Approved using the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance flyer in the church bulletin for a couple of weeks so church members would know about PDA’s work regarding the California fires, and have the opportunity to give individually if they wanted
Approved moving the April 20 Session meeting to April 27, and the June 15 Session meeting to June 22

MISSION STATEMENT
The First Presbyterian Church of Beeville is called to honor God through: Christ-centered worship, fellowship, outreach, and service encompassing the whole people of God.
Words from the Women
Presbyterian Women's Circle will meet on Thursday, Feb. 13 at 9:30 in the Fellowship Hall. Pat Looney will serve as hostess, assisted by Ellen Walden. The group will discuss Lesson 5, "Air Quality" from this year's study book, Let Justice Roll Down: God's Call to Care for Neighbors and All Creation, by Patricia K. Tull. Initial plans will be made regarding the Lenten Luncheon to be held at St. Philip's Episcopal Church in March. All women are invited to attend this time of fellowship and learning.
